MTNL the #1 ISP in Mumbai, in its endeavor to provide world class broadband service at most affordable rates, has been introducing many attractive plans to the customers. In August 09, speeds of all unlimited plans were doubled without any extra charges which got good response from the customers.Now again MTNL Mumbai decides to delight customers with further speed upgrade at no extra cost.
Encouraged with the success of previous speed upgrade offer, MTNL has once again decided to upgrade the speed of most of their unlimited plans and customers will now be able to enjoy net connectivity at increased speed without paying anything extra. The plans along with their revised speeds are as below.

For unlimited 1Mbps plan speed is increased by 30% however, Unlimited 2Mbps plan is not covered in this offer presently.
In a press conference, arranged at Telephone House Prabhadevi, Shri Kuldeep Singh, CMD, MTNL, launched these plans. He also inaugurated VDSL service by which customers can get very high speed internet access. This service will provide download speed upto 22Mbps and upload speed upto 6Mbps within a distance of 1km from the DSLAM equipment. The monthly plan charges are Rs. 4999 with 20GB free download and 200 free calls in new VDSL Combo plan.
Mr. Singh expressed that, by doubling the speed MTNL customers can now experience further high speed net access and carryout their work in lesser time without any extra payment. VDSL service will also be useful to Corporate Customers / Media Houses where very high speed net connectivity is a prime requirement.
On this occasion, Shri J. Gopal, Executive Director, MTNL Mumbai and other senior officers of MTNL were also present.

im not getting my 512 kbps yet mtnl is third class in service providing
