Today 15th March was the first day for filling application for 3G as per Notice Inviting Tender.But the day one went blank as no telecom operator applied for 3G on Monday i.e day one of application.It’s expected that the big operators will apply for 3G but probably on last days.The last day for submitting application is 19th March.

As per notice inviting tender ,in most of the circles 3 slots will be availabe for auction while in five circles there are five slots open.BSNL & MTNL have already been allotted 3G spectrum and they are already offering their services.Although they couldn’t capitalize on the lead which they had got.

So  in most of the circles there would be four players offering 3G services while in five circles there would be five.Auction is decided to take place on April9.

3G is the next generation of Mobile technology,which enables high speed data transmission thereby a customer can enjoy fetures like high speed broadband on mobile,video calling,mobile tv and many other bandwidth hungry applications.
