Uninor’s innovative tariff model of Dynamic Pricing will now enable mobile users to avail upto 60% discounts on 1p per second billing in Karnataka circle. The dynamic discount is not only offered to local calls but STD calls also get the benefit. Customers may also get discount for calls from Uninor to any other operator. Uninor’s Dynamic Pricing plan will offer rates as low as 40p per second merely by crossing the road and changing the discount zone.
Dynamic Pricing offers discounts that change with location and time. Every cell phone tower broadcasts a different discount. This discount is always visible on the screens of all mobile phones in that area. So discounts change as a customer moves from the coverage of one tower to the next. At the same location, the discount changes every hour. This means a better discount could be available at the next traffic signal or simply by crossing a street.
Now riding on a 1-paisa per second billing, Uninor’s Dynaimc Pricing will by far be the most affordable mobile plan for customers in India. At full discount, a 1-minute call could now cost 24 paisa only.
This plan is available on a recharge tariff of Rs. 26 with a validity of 3 months. The plan will be available at 11 exclusive Uninor stores and over 29000 other shops across Karnataka. It can be activated by simply walking up to the nearest a retail shop.
The earlier Dynamic Pricing plan with per-minute billing will continue to be available in the market.
“By choosing the time and place to make a call, you decide how much you want to pay. This has been the philosophy of our Dynamic Pricing concept – power of tariffs in the customer’s hands and an end to the fixed tariffs raj. Now applicable on a 1-paisa per second billing, this is by far the most attractive tariff available in India today,” said Ann Hofvander, Executive Vice President, Karnataka Hub.
“DP is our anchor product. It’s not just about the best tariffs, but how we deliver these to our customers. Our way is a transparent and engaging way, as customers actively seek out and discover maximum discount zones on their mobile screens. We believe this will make an otherwise routine activity exciting and encourage our customer to keep and use our SIM card in their phones”
