Reliance introduces Android 2.3 based 3G Tablet for Rs 12999
Reliance Communications has entered the highly competitive tablet market by introducing its own Android based tablet ‘Reliance 3G Tab’ at an event organised in Mumbai. This is for the first time that any 3G operator has introduced its own 3G tablet. It’s a Android 2.3 powered tablet with 7 inch capacitive touch screen , 512 MB RAM ,micro SD external storage upto 32 GB and 2 mega pixel front and rear camera. The device is priced attractively at Rs. 12,999 and further bundled with discounts on the monthly and annual data plans to enhance the value proposition. Reliance 3G Tab is being launched today in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata and will be available in Reliance World and Reliance Mobile stores across the 13 3G circles in the next few days.
Reliance 3G Tab provides a user-friendly email experience on it’s 7-inch screen for Business users. Apart from this it comes bundled with ‘Documents To Go’ which allows its users to w conveniently view and work with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF attachments. Other features include Mobile TV, voice calling, GPS and video recording. Reliance 3G Tab is pre-loaded with 15 most popular applications to provide information services (browsing, navigation maps and search), communication services (email, blog, SMS, and MMS), entertainment services (music, video, and games), and social networking services (Facebook, Twitter, and Orkut) and access to thousands of applications provided through the Android Market. Reliance Communications is also offering a free 4GB SD card, but, customers can upgrade the memory up to 32 GB.
