Videocon has introduced affordable tablet VT 71 priced below Rs.5000. The newly launched tablet VT 71 features 7-inch capacitive display and  considered to be budget tablet packed with attractive configuration at Rs.4799. The VT 71 is powered by 1.2 Ghz processor and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The tablet equips 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, microSD card slot, front VGA camera and 3200 mAh battery. On data connectivity side, the VT 71 supports wi-fi and 3G connectivity via USB dongle. It also equips microUSB port, HDMI port and 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, the  device comes prepacked with a free USB OTG cable and free HDMI cable.

Vidoecon had also introduced 10-inch tablet Videocon VT 10 at Rs.11,200.
