Sony launches Xperia Z in India for 38990

Sony has launched its flagship full HD smartphone Sony Xperia Z in India for Rs.38990. Sony Xperia Z is 5” smartphone running on Android 4.1 OS and is powered by Snapdrago S4 Pro quadcore 1.5 Ghz processor. It offers 1920*1080 pixel screen resolution and boasts of using Sony’s Bravia engine technology. Sony Xperia Z is equipped with 13 megapixel Exmor RS camera with Auto focus and flash and 2 MP Exmor R  front facing camera (1080p). It has 2330 mAh battery that offers Talk time (up to) of  up to 11 hours and standby time  of up to 550 hours. On memory side it has an impressive 2GB RAM , 16GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD card. Sony Xperia weighs just 146 gms  and has slimmer body width with 7.9mm dimensions. It also  boasts of using shatter proof sheet on screen resistant glass on the main screen to make it water and dust-resistant body. Sony has also come out with data offer in association with Vodafone. Vodafone users can enjoy bundled data of 8GB for a period of 2 months with this smartphone. Sony Xperia Z will be available from 12th March’13.
