Sony announces Xperia M and Xperia M dual Android smartphones.

Sony Mobile has announced the addition of new Android smartphones in its Xperia portfolio Xperia M and Xperia M dual. These are 4” Android smartphones powered by 1 Ghz dual core processors.  Xperia M runs on Android 4.1 version while its dual SIM model will pack 4.2 version. The screen resolution in these smartphones is 854×480 pixels and they feature 1GB RAM , 4 GB RAM and microSD support of up to 64GB. They come with 5 mega pixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and Sony Exmor RS  and front VGA camera. It has been built to capture video at 720p. Xperia M and Xperia M dual pack  a 1750 mAh battery with stand by time of up to 9 hrs 3 min and talk time of up to 454 hrs on 3G networks. Other features include 3G support, DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. The smartphones are expected to be available from third quarter of this year and priced in mid range segment. Xperia M and Xperia M dual will be available in Black, White and Purple – a Yellow colour variation will also be available for the single SIM model.
