    State-owned telecom service provider, MTNL has introduced two new variants of per second pack for GSM mobile users in Mumbai. The two new FRCs for Rs 145 and Rs 301 to enable per second billing and lifetime validity and will offer free talk value of Rs 160 and Rs 350 respectively. These newly introduced FRCs are variants of earlier FRC of Rs 91. These FRCs can only be used along with SIM of Rs 10.

Images of Actress Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan were downloaded maximum under Bollywood category. Amongst sportstars Sachin Tendulkar and Sania Mirza were clearly India’s favourite. Airtel mobile users downloaded 25 million images and wallpapers during last one year.

    Leading mobile phone maker, Samsung Mobiles, has launched Wave II S8530 smartphone in India. The device will be available at a price tag of Rs 19000. The Samsung Wave II S8530 runs on Bada OS and is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and a 3.7-inch Super-clear LCD touchscreen display supporting upto 800×480 pixel resolution. The 5MP camera also supports HD video recording. The device is powered by ARM cortex 1GHz processor and 2GB internal memory which can be expandable upto 32 GB using micro SD cards. The phone supports for HSDPA (3G) connectivity.

The device runs on Android 2.1 Eclair OS using a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor with 256MB of RAM. The phone comes with 2GB memory which may be expandable upto 32GB.
