    MTNL to increase GSM call rates in Delhi circle

    MTNL will slightly increase the call rates in some of prepaid and postpaid plans from 1st July,2012. ​In 3G jadoo pay per minute prepaid plan the own network call rate will be increased from current 20p/ min to 30 p/min. For postpaid customers , in Super Value plan the own n/w call rates will be increased from 20 p/min to 30p/min. In Super freedom plan own n/w call rates will be increased as above while the other n/w call rate will increase from 40p/min to 50 p/min. In Plan C the other n/w calls will be increased from 40 p/min to 50 p/min.

    CDMA operator MTS has launched its high-speed mobile broadband service, MBlaze in Gujarat. MTS has rolled out its high speed mobile internet services in Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Kodinar and Verawal. With this launch, MTS has brought in a rich portfolio of world-class voice and data services for its customers in Gujarat.     Reliance Mobile announces 3G tariff plans

    Reliance Communications [RCom] recently launched its 3G services in India after Tata Docomo, has today announced its 3G services tariff plans. Customers may enjoy Reliance 3G services using USB Data card or 3G enabled handset. Existing Reliance customers using 2G services will be upgraded to 3G network automatically and they will continue with their existing 2G tariff plans, however they will have to use 3G enabled device.

    After allowing one week free 3G Life experience to the customers, Tata DOCOMO the first telecom service provider to launch 3G services in India, today announced attractive and innovative plans 3G tariff plans for consumers to upgrade to the 3G Life. These plans will be applicable from 10th November. Tata Docomo’s HSPA+ 3G Network, set up with the assistance of NTT Docomo, supports high-speed Internet access with speeds of up to 21.1 Mbps. Technical literature often refers to this as ‘3.5 G+’. The network also supports high-definition voice (HD Voice) for superior voice clarity. The Company launched its 3G services this Diwali in nine Circles—Karnataka, Kerala, Rest of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya-Pradesh-Chhattisgarh and UP (West).
